My name is Ruth Viafranco. I am a born Belizean. I grew up in Southern Belize where the mountains were my backyard and crystal clear streams were our outdoor pool. The neighboring villages were home to exotic waterfalls, hidden caves and small Mayan temples. They all created a lifetime memory of childhood experiences. Since then, I have always loved being outdoors-exploring new places, experiencing new things and most of all connecting with nature!
Belize is a small country but has so much to offer. Being a Belizean gives me a great advantage to share my jewel with you. I enjoy culture, adventure and most of all food! Belize is full of beautiful unique cultures. I have had the privilege of having friends from all cultures, and I will definitely share my adventure world with you.
Currently living in the Western Part of Belize, I am basically in the middle of the action. As a matter of fact, western Belize or San Ignacio is a Major Inland Tourist Destination.
As a Belizean blogger, I intend to share from a local’s perspective! Learn more about traveling in Belize, the food and the lifestyle. Read about the dos and don’ts of traveling in Central America, and why a tropical vacation is just what you need.
